RedHawks Sweep Bethel University
PULASKI, Tenn. (3/17) – Martin Methodist College hosted their first TranSouth Athletic Conference tennis matches of the 2010 season yesterday as Bethel University came to town. Both the Men’s and Women’s Teams won yesterday against the Wildcats. The Women’s Team won 7-2 while the Men’s Team won 5-4. (more)

Teams Enjoy Weather and Competition on Spring Break
(3/15) – The Martin Methodist College Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams always take a trip for Spring Break to for some warmer weather and good competition. This year’s trip first included a stop in Cleveland, Tennessee to take on Lee University before travelling south to Orlando, Florida. (more)

Winters Receives National Arthur Ashe Award
As the 2009 US Open came to a close last week Martin Methodist College Senior women’s tennis player Allison Winters can say she was there, she watched the first matches of the tournament. She was in New York City receiving the 2009 ITA National Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award. She was selected as the NAIA Region IV (South) Division award winner. (more)

Pulaski, Tenn. (7/14) – Martin Methodist College’s women’s tennis player, Allison Winters, has been selected within the NAIA Region IV (South) Division to receive the ITA National Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award. (more)
RedHawks Finish Regular Season, Head to Conference
PULASKI, Tenn. (4/16) – After weather has put a damper on the 2009 Tennis season the RedHawks were able to get in their last regular season match of the year as they hosted Lindsey Wilson yesterday. Both the Men’s and Women’s team lost to the Blue Raiders but they will keep the season alive as the head into the 2009 TranSouth Conference Tournament. (more)

RedHawks Get Big Win over UAH
(3/30) – The Martin Methodist College Women’s Tennis team got their first team win ever over NCAA Division II University of Alabama-Huntsville last Friday. The RedHawks had a clean sweep winning the match 9-0. (more)

RedHawks fall in First Conference Match
MCKENZIE, Tenn. (3/19) – Both of the Martin Methodist College Tennis teams traveled to McKenzie, Tennessee for their first TranSouth Conference matches of the 2009 season. The Men’s team fell just short being defeated 5-4. The Women’s team was defeated 8-1. (more)

RedHawks Win Season Opener
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (2/25) – The Martin Methodist College Tennis Teams opened up their 2009 Season on the road this past weekend in Chattanooga, Tennessee against Covenant College. The women’s team won 8-1 and the men’s team won 9-0. (more)

Prada and Santos Win ITA Regional Doubles
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (10/1) – The Martin Methodist College Tennis Teams competed in the ITA Southeast Regional Tennis Tournament last week in Georgetown, Kentucky. Men’s Doubles pair Melvin Prada and Vinicius Santos took home the doubles title. This is the first time since 2001 Martin Methodist players have won that title. (more)
