Martin Methodist College: Adam Hanson returns for his second season on the RedHawks tennis squad. Last season he collected a singles win in the sixth position against the University of Alabama-Huntsville, and teamed up with Micah Myers to win a doubles match in Panama City Beach, Fla. against Dallas Baptist University.

Marshall County High School: As a member of the Marshall County tennis team for four years, he was a member of the team that  won the regional tournament in 2001 and 2003, and finished as runner-up in 2000 and 2002. Adam came in second in doubles in the region for two years. He was also an All-District player for four years and an All-Region player for two years. He also won a special award at MCHS for his hard work and determination. At MCHS he was also an outstanding member of the band and Beta Club.

Personal: Full name is Adam Matthew Hanson...He is the son of Randy Basil Hanson and Jane Elizabeth Iverson.
