(5/2) - Martin Methodist's Vinicius Santoswas named the TranSouth Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week after winning his singles and doubles matches in a victory over Cumberland University in the NAIA Qualifying Tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn., as the RedHawks lost in the finals of the tourney.
LEBANON, Tenn. (4/28) - Martin Methodist's Vinicius Santos was voted the TranSouth Conference Player of the Year and MMC head coach Melinda Sevier was named the Coach of the Year in a vote of league coaches announced Thursday. The RedHawks, along with Cumberland University and Bethel University, begin action in the NAIA Qualifying Tournament on Friday in Chattanooga, Tenn.
