MONTGOMERY, Ala.Darius Woods corralled a pass from Josh Watson, stopped just beyond the three-point line and banked home a shot as time expired to lift the Martin Methodist Men's Basketball team to a 68-65 victory over William Carey (Miss.) University in the SSAC conference title game Saturday night.

PULASKI, Tenn. – The Martin Methodist Men's Basketball team will begin its postseason run and quest for a conference championship this Thursday when it travels to Montgomery, Alabama for the SSAC Men and Women's Basketball Championships.

The RedHawks finished the regular season with a 25-4 record and its 15-3 mark in conference play locked up the second seed when the tournament begins later this week at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.
