Softball: RedHawks Play Well Against Top 25 Teams

MOBILE, Ala. (3/8) – Martin Methodist started off their Spring Break softball trip this weekend with games against NAIA top ranked teams at the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama. The RedHawks won three of their four games played in the tournament. (more)

Weekend Re-Cap

(3/3) – The Martin Methodist College Softball team travelled to Rome, Georgia this past weekend to participate in the annual Shorter College Invitational. There were some strong teams in the tournament and the RedHawks finished with a 4-1 weekend record. (more)

RedHawks Sweep; Paul 400^th Win

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (2/19) – The Martin Methodist College Softball Team opened up their 2010 campaign yesterday earning their first two wins of the season. The game one win marked Head Coach Brandie Paul’s 400^th career win against her Alma Mater, Huntingdon College. (more)

Martin Methodist Ranked NAIA No. 8

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (2/3) – The 2010 Martin Methodist College Softball team was ranked No. 8 in the NAIA’s 2010 Preseason Softball Poll that was released earlier this week. Martin Methodist has been in the NAIA Top 10 for the last five polls and in the NAIA Top 15 in the last eight polls. (more)

RedHawks Tabbed as TranSouth Preseason No. 1

PULASKI, Tenn. (1/27) - The Martin Methodist College Softball team was picked No. 1 in the 2010 Preseason Coaches Poll. The RedHawk softball program is coming off of a great 2009 campaign, concluding the season at the NAIA Softball National Tournament as one of the Elite Eight teams in the nation and with a top 10 ranking.
