Martin Methodist College (2006): A starting short stop/second baseman for Coach Paul...led the team with 9 home runs, 51 RBI's and a slugging percentage of .688, also had a .395 BA, 15 doubles and 11 stolen bases. Selected to the TranSouth All-Conference Team, Region XI First Team, NFCA East Region First Team second baseman, and NAIA All-American Honorable Mention.
Martin Methodist College (2005): A starting short stop for Coach Paul…led the team with 15 home runs, 67 RBI’s, and a slugging percentage of .706, also had a .364 BA, 15 doubles and 10 stolen bases, selected to the All-Tournament Team at the SCAD Smash Hit Spring Break Tourney, she was named the TranSouth Player of the Year and the Region XI Co-Player of the Year, was the first softball player in MMC history to receive NAIA All-American accolades by being selected to the 2nd Team.
Northwest Shoals CC: A two year starter at short stop for Coach Melanie Thompson…as a freshman was selected as an All Northern Conference player and was on the All State Tournament Team…as a sophomore was again selected as an All Northern conference player as well as an All Region player…after posting a .380 batting average Karen was selected as NWSCC most valuable hitter and team MVP.
Franklin High School: 4 year starter for both the softball and basketball teams…all four years Karen was her team’s most valuable hitter…she was also a four year all district pick…her last three years she was her team’s overall MVP…as a senior she was the Co-MVP for her District.

Coach Paul’s Comments: “Karen was an outstanding player for MMC. She led the team both years she was here at the plate. She will be taking on the role of hitting coach this season. I am very excited to add her to my staff. She will be beneficial to our program."
