Martin Methodist College (2006): As a junior pitcher Dara again led the pitching staff picking up 24 wins on the mound, 7 shut-outs, and 31 complete games.  She had 122 strike outs in 200 innings pitched.  She was named to the TranSouth All-Conference Team as well as the Region XI Team.

Martin Methodist College (2005): As a sophomore pitcher led our pitching staff with 18 wins, 9 shut-outs, 3 saves, and 25 complete games, finished the season with a 1.62 ERA, had 129 strike outs while only given up 32 walks in 168 innings pitched, named to the SCAD Smash Hit Spring Break All-Tournament Team.

Martin Methodist College (2004): A freshman pitcher for Coach Paul…had a 13-5 record with 17 complete games and 5 shut outs…struck out 70 batters while only walking 16…led the pitching staff with a 2.28 ERA.

Huntland High School: A five year starter for Coach Reggie Campbell…Received the Best Pitcher Award all five years…was an All District selection as a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior…was team co-captain as a junior and team captain as a senior…was the team MVP as a junior and senior…received the team leadership award as a senior.

Personal: Full name is Dara Alicia May…born on October 18, 1984 in Huntland, TN…Daughter of Kenneth and Nancy May…Majoring in Criminal Justice…enjoys reading, watching movies, and singing…favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves…favorite band is Linkin Park…favorite movie is Pretty Woman.

Coach Paul’s Comments: “Going into her senior season, Dara will have to work extremely hard to maintain her past success.  She has been in the conference for 3 years now and teams have started to adjust to her, so she will have to raise the level of her game to accommodate that fact."
