Martin Methodist College:  Dakota Bowman joins the RedHawks this fall for her first season of collegiate competition.

Bledsoe County High School:  Before coming to Martin Methodist, Dakota played at Bledsoe County High School in Pikeville, TN under the direction of Coach Greta Vanwinkle. While at Bledsoe County, she was named MVP 2007, Best Offense 2007, All-District Honorable Mention 2007, Chattanooga Area Best of Preps 2006, Golden Glove 2005-2006, and Team Player 2004.

Personal:  Full name is Dakota Leshae Bowman...born October 10th...she is the daughter of Billy and Vonnie Bowman...she is majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in History...her hobbies include playing softball and tennis...her favorite movie is Tommy Boy...she likes to listen to country music...her favorite team is the New York Yankees.
