Martin Methodist College: Victoria Charnley returns to the RedHawks starting lineup for the her fourth and final season as a defender for the RedHawks.
2006: Last season, Victoria was the only player to start and play in all 23 of the RedHawks matches. She scored seven goals and had two assists. Vic headed in the game winning goal against Bethel College in double overtime to lift Martin Methodist College to their third-consecutive TranSouth Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament Championship. She was named a NAIA 1st Team All-American, TranSouth All-Conference 1st Team, TranSouth Co-Player of the Year, and a TranSouth Scholar Athlete.
2005: Charnley competed and started in all 25 games for the National Champions. She was fifth in goals, assists and with 10 goals, 11 assists and 31 points. She was four-for-four on penalty kicks during the regular season, as she went on to earn selection to the TranSouth All-Conference Team, All-Region XI First Team and NAIA All-America Second Team. She scored two goals and an assist in the TranSouth Tournament, earning her the Tournament's Most Valuable Player Award. She gained career-highs in goals and points, scoring four goals and one assist for a total of nine points against Union University.
2004: Charnley scored five goals and added eight assists as a freshman, including a hat trick against Trevecca Nazarene University on September 8, 2004. She also netted the game-winning goal in the TranSouth Conference Tournament Championship in a 7-0 victory over Cumberland University. She had three multiple assists games, picking up two against Freed-Hardeman University, Shorter College and Virginia Intermont College. At the conclusion of the season, she was named a First-Team All-TranSouth Conference selection and the Best Defender for MMC.
High School: Attended Drotlsden High School for girls in Manchester, England. In 2003 she competed for the East Durham Ladies and was named the team's MVP. She was coached by Gill Coultard, the most capped English women's soccer player.
