Martin Methodist College: Sara Perrigan returns for her third season with the RedHawks to compete for time at the forward and midfield positions.
2006: Last season, Perrigan played in 22 matches, starting 13. She scored nine goals and recorded eight assists including a hat trick against Georgetown College on October 21st. Sara was also named a TranSouth Scholar Athlete.
2005: Perrigan was named the TranSouth Freshman of the Year after leading MMC and the TranSouth with 18 goals on the season. In addition to the goals, her eight assists placed her second on the team in points with 44. Perrigan played in all 25 games and started in 17. She scored a career-high four goals against Union University and posted three other multiple goal games. In addition to the Freshman of the Year honor, she was also named a member of the All-Region XI Second Team.
High School: Attended Westfield High School in Chantilly, Va. before finishing high school at Franklin High School in Tenn. While at Franklin, she played soccer for head coach Jimmy Burchett and was a 2003 and 2004 All-District Selection. She was also named the 2003 Katie Hunter Most Valuable Player.
