Martin Methodist College: Rachel Sharp returns to the RedHawks' squad for her third season of competition, as she will compete for playing time as a defender.
2005: Last season, Sharp started in three of her 18 games played. She scored her first collegiate goal, and only goal of the season, on Sept. 2 against Thomas University. At the conclusion of the season she was named to the TranSouth Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for the third consecutive season.
2004: She collected an assist against Freed-Hardeman Unviersity, as she started in all 19 games for the RedHawks. At the conclusion of the season, she was selected as a member of the TranSouth Conference All-Academic Team and Second-Team All-TranSouth Conference. She was also named to the President's List for her work off the field in the classroom.
2003: Sharp started in a number of games her freshman year, and picked up and assist against Freed-Hardeman University. At the conclusion of the season, she was voted by her team as the Most Improved Player and was named to the TranSouth All-Academic Team.
High School: Graduated from Henry County High School in 2003, where she was a four-year letter winner for Brian Belong. As a freshman, she was voted the team's Most Improved Player and was selected to the All-District Tournament Team, an honor she'd receive all four years. She was also named to the All-District Team her sophomore, junior and senior seasons, becoming the All-District Most Valuable Defensive Player her senior season. She served as team captain her junior and senior seasons, while being named the team's Best Defensive Player her junior year and team MVP her senior year.

She also enjoys painting, reading, country music and mashed potatoes.
