Martin Methodist College: Lisa Mann returns for her fourth and final season with the RedHawks as a midfielder.
2007: Last season, Mann was one of only three RedHawks to start and play in all 24 of their games. She scored 12 goals and had seven assists. Lisa scored the winning goals in the TranSouth Conference Tournament Final, the NAIA Region XI Tournament Semi-Final and the NAIA Region XI Tournament Final. She was one of two MMC player to be selected to the NAIA All-American First Team. Lisa was selected the Region XI Player of the year and was also choosen to the Region XI First Team and to the TranSouth All-Conference First Team.
2006: Lisa started 20 of the 21 games she played in. She scored seven goals and recorded four assists, scoring a goal in the season opener against St. Xaiver University. Mann scored two goals and had one assist against Georgetown College on October 21st. She was named to the TranSouth All-Conference 2nd Team.
2005: Her freshman year Mann netted seven goals and collected 13 assists for the National Champion RedHawks, having started in 15 of her 21 games played. She opened her collegiate career with four assists in the season opener against Brewton-Parker College, and later scored two goals in a game against Union University. She scored one goal and three assists at the NAIA National Tournament, earning her a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
High School: Attended Hebburn Comprehensive School in New Castle. She played prep soccer for coaches Gill Coultard and Julie Twaddle.
Personal: Full name is Lisa Mann…Birth Date: September 3…Daughter of Elaine Downs and Micahel Mann…Major is Psychology...when not on the soccer field Lisa enjoys watching and coaching soccer, swimming, weight lifting and hanging out with friends...her favorite team is Newcastle United F.C. and her favorite animals are cats.
