Martin Methodist College: Karen Carmack returns for her third season of competition in the net for the RedHawks.
2006: Last season, Carmack had seven appereances and three starts for the RedHawks playing a total of 378 minutes in goal. She recorded a shutout in her start against Freed-Hardeman University on Oct. 24. Karen was named a TranSouth Conference Scholar Athlete.
2005: Carmack was a part of seven shutouts in her seven apperances for MMC, collecting shutouts in both of her two starts (Freed-Hardeman University and Trevecca Nazarene University). She collected eight saves and allowed no goals in 377 minutes played.
High School: Prepped at Marshall County High School in Benton, KY under the direction of Stacey Bradley. During her time there, she was selected Second Team All-District, Honorable Mention All-Region, and voted the Most Improved Player. Academically, she was listed on the honor roll, in Who's Who Among High School Students, Most Outstanding AP US History student, and Distinguished Reporter/Historian of HOSA.
