Martin Methodist College: Johannson returns for her fourth and final season in the red and white to start at forward.
2006: Last season, Amanda played in 22 matches for the RedHawks, starting 16. She scored ten goals and recorded eight assists. She was selected TranSouth All-Conference 1st Team, 1st Team All-Region XI, TranSouth Scholar Athlete, and was also selected as a NAIA Scholar Athlete. Amanda received two art awards and the prestigious Tom Read Academic Award in 2007.
2005: As a sophomore, Johannson started in all 25 games for the RedHawks. She finished third on the team in goals scored and assists with 13 goals and eight assists, while scoring the game-winning goal in the NAIA Region XI Championship against Lindsey Wilson College. Her accolades on the year included a being named a TranSouth Scholar Athlete, selected to the NAIA All-Region XI First Team and being named an NAIA All-America Honorable Mention.
2004: Named the 2004 Freshman of the Year in the TranSouth Athletic Conference, she started in all 19 games, finished second on the team in goals scored with 20 and led the team in shots on goal with 54. She netted multiple goals in six matches last fall, including scoring three goals against Lyon College and Freed-Hardeman University. She also scored four goals and had two assists in a 16-0 win over Shorter College. On the season she collected 10 assists and two game winning goals.
High School: Prepped under the instruction of Lars-Ake Basktrom at Rudbeckianska Gymnasiet School in Vasteras, Sweden. Also before coming to MMC, Johansson was the leading goal scorer for Gideonsberg and played for the Vastmalands regional team, participating in the Elite camp. She was selected as a forward on the all-star team.
