Ken Snell and Stones River Motors: Recipients of Award of Excellence
Martin Methodist College alum and Hall of Fame member Ken Snell '65 and his Nissan dealership, Stones River Motors, are a recent recipient of the 2006 Nissan Owner First Award of Excellence, celebrating their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Legacy of '52-53 Team is Amazing: MMC adds three plaques to HOF
Columbia Daily Herald Sports Editor Marion Wilhoite highlights the 1952-53 Men's Basketball Team among the Class of 2006 Martin Methodist Sports Hall of Fame Inductees in the Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 issue of the paper. In addition to the '52-53 team that went 15-3 on the year, indcutees included Elwood and Grace Denson '47 and Jim Houlihan '66.

Wilcher and Loe Meet For the First Time on Opposite Sides of the Ball
Subplots are common in the world of sports, so it should be no surprise that there would be one between Martin Methodist College and Crichton College in men's basketball. MMC assistant coach Patrick Wilcher and Crichton leading scorer Jonathan Loe are former neighbors from college and good friends. Both meet each other for the first time on opposing teams January 19, 2006 in the Curry Christian Life Center.

RedHawks Help Spread Soccer Into Lawrenceburg
On Saturday, September 10, more than 100 boys and girls ranging from ages 4-14 gathered to take part in a soccer clinic conducted by the Martin Methodist College women’s soccer team and sponsored by the Lawrence County Soccer Association.
