PULASKI, Tenn. – Less than 24 hours after dropping a heartbreaking five-set contest, the Martin Methodist Volleyball team returned to action Saturday afternoon with a convincing 3-1 victory over Belhaven (Miss.) University in the Curry Christian Life Center.

JACKSON, Tenn. – A balanced scoring night led No. 13 Martin Methodist to a 4-2 victory over NCAA Division II foe Union (Tenn.) University Friday night.

Deadlocked at 2-2 after 80-plus minutes, it appeared as if the RedHawks (4-1) might have to settle for a draw against their old TranSouth Athletic Conference rivals.

But junior captain Fabiola Sanchez had other intentions as she collected the eventual game-winning goal in the 85th minute from a corner kick.

PULASKI, Tenn. – You will have to forgive Martin Methodist Clay Target shooter Hannah Houston if her focus is somewhat lacking these days.

The excitement of representing not only Martin Methodist but her entire country might have a little something to do with that.

While most students are settling into their classes, finding their way around campus and beginning the rigors of another semester, Houston has been preparing for an upcoming trip to Granada, Spain, where she will represent the United States at the International Shooting Sports Federation World Shooting Championships.
