Inducted November 15, 2003 1963-1965 Attended Martin Junior College on an Honor Scholarship 1963-1964 Lettered in 3 sports, 1st person to do so in School History (Basketball- guard/forward, Baseball- starting 3rd baseman and pitcher, Golf- MVP 1964 season) 1964-1965 Injured knee during Basketball season, Baseball- starting 3rd baseman and pitcher, Golf- played number 2 behind Hall of Famer Dee Bennett, Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa 1968 Graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Major in Mathematics and a Minor in English and Marketing 1969-1972 Teacher at Eagleville High School, Tennessee 1974 Received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from YMCA Night Law School (now Nashville School of Law), Passed Bar exam and admitted to Practice 1974. Opened law office in Murfreesboro 1975. 1977- Present President of Stones River Motors 1991-1997 Served on the Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation of Middle Tennessee 1995 Received the Cecil G. Gilliam Award for Volunteerism 2001 Elected to the Rutherford County Old Timers Baseball Hall of Fame
