Golf: Brown and Wilson Make TranSouth All-Conference Teams

Nashville, Tenn. (4/15) – Junior Lyndi Brown and Senior Clay Wilson both from Russellville, Ala. were selected to the 2008 TranSouth All-Conference Teams for Women’s and Men’s Golf. (more)

Men's and Women's Golf Compete in TranSouth Conf. Tourney
Nashville, Tenn. (4/14) - The Men's and Women's Golf Teams are competing the 2007-2008 TranSouth Conference Touranment. After the first round of play today the RedHawk Men are in 3rd place and the RedHawk Women are in 4th place. They will conclude play tomorrow with the final round. The tournament is being played on The General's Retreat Course at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn. For more infomation on the tournament please visit www.transouth.org

RedHawks Place 6^th and 5^th in Spring Tournaments

The Martin Methodist College Men’s Golf Team has participated in two tournaments in the last two weeks. They played in the 1^st Community Bank Scots Invitational hosted by Lyon College on March 16^th and 17^th where they placed 6^th. Then last weekend they played in the Union University Spring Invitational hosted by Union. (more)

RedHawks Set Team Record Low
Muscle Shoals, AL (9/12) - The Martin Methodist Men’s Golf team played in the North West Shoals Community College Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday of this week. The guys played 36 holes on day one of the Invitational and on day two they played 18 holes at the Cypress Lakes Golf Course in Muscle Shoals, AL. The RedHawks set a Team Record Low One Day Total shooting at combined 295 on Tuesday, previous low was 296. (more)
