Paschal Dunne 10th Year Head Coach Men's Soccer
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Paschal Dunne joined the Martin Methodist College staff as head coach in 1997. Prior to coming to his coaching career, Dunne played his collegiate soccer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in 1987. Following the completion of his degree, remained with the soccer program as an assistant coach until earning his Master’s degree in Management in 1990. Following a short stint in the finance world, Dunne returned to coaching as an assistant at the University of Montevallo in 1995 until coming to MMC. In 1996 he was inducted into the UAH Hall of Fame. Through 10 years of coaching at Martin Methodist College, he holds a career record of 102-64-11 (.582), collecting his 100th career victory on MMC Senior Day, October 24, 2006 in a 4-0 victory over Freed-Hardeman Unviersity. Under his direction, he has helped lead the RedHawks to seven winning season and five TranSouth Athletic Conference championships ( three regular season and two tournament). He has also made six trips to the NAIA Region XI Tournament, most recently in 2006. He was voted by his peers the TranSouth Coach of the Year both in 2002 and 2004.
