Monica Hartsfield has over 22 years of experience in the sport of cheerleading, and over 15 years of experience coaching. Monica began cheering at a very young age in leagues much like Pop Warner leagues. She found her love for cheerleading would also encompass the sport of gymnastics and tumbling, because the two fit hand in hand. School cheerleading proved to be a passion for Monica as she cheered throughout her elementary and junior high years. During this time she became a competitive cheerleader winning many squad titles and awards with organizations like COA, UCA, WCA, etc. She continued cheering and competing throughout high school winning many more squad and individual awards with various organizations.
Monica's passion for cheerleading and tumbling continued on the collegiate level at Tennessee Tech University, where she met and was partnered with Micah his first year there. She cheered on the Golden Eagles for three years before trying out for the NFL's Tennessee Titans their inaugural season. Both Monica and Micah made the inaugural squad and cheered with the Titans for 5 seasons. During their time they served as Stunt Captains and Show Team members (but if you ask both the highlight of their professional career was seeing the Music City Miracle and cheering at Super bowl XXXIV the '99 season).
Monica is USASF and AACCA certified, as well as CPR/First Aid certified. She is also a member of the AAU United States Trampoline & Tumbling Association. She has coached and choreographed for many award winning school, recreational, all-star, and collegiate programs. Monica has also served as a judge for organizations including COA, Cheer Ltd., TSSAA, and Pop Warner.
