Men’s Bowling: ITC Sectional Re-Cap
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (3/11-3/13) - The guys headed out to Vegas in hopes of beating the odds! On Friday, all bowlers were individually competing for a chance to go to nationals. The top bowlers on the team were Michael Jeter and Ben Biddy. Michael Jeter averaged 199.8 and Ben averaged 201.8. Both of these guys were able to finish in the top 25, but came up short of finishing in the top 4, which would have sent them to nationals. (more) 41st Annual Hoosier Classic
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (2/20-2/21) - The Martin Methodist bowling program made the trip to Indianapolis, Indiana. They bowled in the 41st annual Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl Lanes. The tournament format was nine individual team games, on two different sport oil patterns. (more)
Blue and Gold Classic - Poirier Bowls 300
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (1/23-1/24) - The Martin Methodist bowling teams made the 10 hour trip to South Bend, Indiana this last weekend to bowl in the “Blue and Gold Classic”. The girls struggled but their focus continues to be on making sectionals. The girls need to make the top 64 and are currently sitting in 34th. Even though the girls haven’t found their stride yet, there are still two tournaments left in their regular season. (more)
MMC Bowlers Compete in Dayton, Ohio
DAYTON, Ohio (11/14-11/15) - The Martin Methodist bowling teams, two guys’ team and one girl team, visited Poleking Woodman Lanes this week in Dayton, Ohio. Both the girls and the guys came into this week looking for results to match the potential. (more) MMC Keglers travel to St Louis
St.Louis, Missouri (2/7- 2/8) - Martin Guys Come Away With 1st Title! The MMC Bowling team traveled to St Louis this weekend and came away with the Schools first ever bowling title. Keeping true to form in a very different and demanding format, the Ladies team continued to make the cut and came away with another top ten finish. The six ladies worked hard to grasp an 8th place finish in a field filled with tough competition. (more) Teams Compete in Raider Classic
Beavercreek, Ohio (11/14-11/15) -- After a slow start to this year’s Men’s and Women’s Bowling seasons Martin Methodist starts to hit their best stride. The bowling team headed to Beavercreek, Ohio this past weekend for the Wright State Raider Classic at the Beaver-VU Bowling Center. (more) |
