Martin Methodist College: Monica Westbrook returns to the the RedHawks this season to compete for time as the starting center. She is the only returning player from last year's squad. In her junior campaign, Westbrook started 23 out of 30 games, averaging 21.9 minutes per game. She averaged 8.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 54% from the field and 72% from the free-throw line.
Motlow State Community College: Westbrook was a 2-year starter, and scored close to 600 points, grabbed 426 rebounds, and had 109 assists and 112 steals. She ranked nationally in field goal %, shooting 54.9%. She tied two individual records while at Motlow with 20 rebounds and 8 steals in one game while also being named All-Conference.
McEwen High School: While at McEwen High School, Westbrook led her team in scoring and rebounding her junior and senior seasons, averaging 18.1 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. She scored a total of 1266 points and pulled down 874 rebounds over two years. Westbrook garnered All-District honors 3 years in basketball, while also lettering in softball and golf.
