Martin Methodist College: Rhett Kelly returns for his second and final season with the RedHawks, after joining the team at the beginning of the spring semester in 2006. In his junior season, Kelly collected 19 points and 19 rebounds while playing an avearage of 11.4 minutes through nine games.

Lindsey Wilson College: Kelly played the previous two seasons for the Blue Raiders who were 63-8 during his time there including consecutive trips to the NAIA National Tournament. In 2003-04, Kelly had eight points and 10 rebounds through 32 minutes played in nine games, as he was a part of Lindsey Wilson's Elite Eight Team. In 2004-05, had eight points through 16 minutes of play in eight games, as the Blue Raiders advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.
