#21 Justin Wilson Forward Senior Houston, TX
Martin Methodist College: Justin Wilson returns for his second season in a RedHawks uniform. Last season Wilson averaged 8.1 points per game and 5.5 rebounds through 30 apperances and 19 starts. He was fourth on the team in assists with 40 and second on the team with blocked shots with five. While he did not lead the team in rebounding average, he led in total rebounds with 164. He also held the best field goal percentage on the team, shooting 52.7 percent from the floor. He dropped a team-high 31 points against Concordia College when he went 10-for-12 from the field and 11-of 22 from the free-throw line. He also collected a double-double for the game with 12 rebounds. On the season, he tallied four double-doubles and 11 double-figure scoring outings. He also made a season and team-high 11 field goals in an 11-for-12 performance against Wesley College where he scored 22 and grabbed 15 boards.
Previous Colleges: Before coming to MMC, Wilson was a member of the basketball program at three different colleges. He played at Angelina College and Grayson County College before being redshirted at Central State University in Ohio for the 2003-04 season.
Houston Prep School: Wilson prepped at Houston Prep for Coach Donald Gay, where he averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds. He was seleceted to appear in the Texas Private School All-Star Game ans was named the 2001-02 Texas Charter Most Valuable Player.
Personal: Born August 2... Originally from Missouri City, Texas... He is the son of Johnny and Sandra Wilson, and guardianed by Broderick Atchison...Majoring in Physical Education...Hobbies include playing video games and watching basketball on television.
