Martin Methodist College:
Father Ryan High School: A three-time varsity letter winner, Bills helped lead the Fighting Irish to two Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association State Tournaments, winning it all in the 2001-02 season. He shot 64 percent from the floor in the 2002 tournament, scoring 17 points. He earned All-State honors as a junior and senior, and was named a member of the All-State Tournament and All-District Teams in addition to being the FRHS Most Valuable Player his senior season in 2002-03. After high school, Bills was invited to walk-on at Texas Tech for Coach Bobby Knight, where he worked out with the team as a non-roster player, learning a great deal from Knight, who says Bills is a power guard that plays with a great deal of finesse.
