RedHawks Sign JUCO Transfers
PULAKI, Tenn. (6/30) - Head baseball coach Kelly Bratton got to work when he was named the new coach of the RedHawks Baseball team earlier this summer. Bratton has signed nine junior college transfers for the 2010 season. (more)

Bratton Tabbed as New MMC Head Coach
PULASKI, Tenn. (5/27) - Kelly Bratton returns to His Alma Mater as the RedHawks new head baseball coach. Bratton has accepted the head baseball coaching position at Martin Methodist College as announced by the RedHawks Director of Athletics, Jeff Bain. (more)

Resignation of Coach Ogilvie
PULASKI, Tenn. (5/12) - Coach George Ogilvie has resigned as the head baseball coach at Martin Methodist College. Coach Ogilvie has served as the head coach for the past six years compiling an over record of 138-173-1 and a TranSouth Conference record of 52-72-1. (more)

RedHawks Wrap Up 2009 Season
JACKSON, Tenn. (5/5) – After a marathon first game against Cumberland in the 2009 TranSouth Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament that didn’t fall the RedHawks way, the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans sealed the fate of the RedHawks winning the elimination game yesterday 17-6. (more)

RedHawks Win Weekend Series
PULASKI, Tenn. (4/27) – The Martin Methodist College Baseball team hosted their final home games last weekend as Mid-Continent University came to town for a three game TranSouth conference series. The RedHawks won all three games on the weekend in run rule fashion. (more)

Hardy and Palm Combine for Win
PULASKI, Tenn. (4/4) – In the TranSouth series finale against Lyon College, Cliff Hardy and Brendan Palm worked the Scots from the mound and were able to help the RedHawks to a 5-4 win. Hardy recorded the win and Palm got the save. (more)

Martin Methodist Sweeps Talladega
PULASKI, Tenn. (4/2) – After a change in venue the Talladega College Tornados made the trip to Sam Davis Park to play a double-header against Martin Methodist College yesterday. The RedHawks swept the Tornados winning game one 13-9 and winning 11-1 in five innings in game two. (more)

Lions Win 2 of 3 in Weekend Series
PULASKI, Tenn. (3/22) – The Martin Methodist College RedHawks hosted their first TranSouth Conference series this weekend against Freed-Hardeman University. The Lions won the Friday night nine inning game 16-9. They also won the first game of the double-header Saturday 7-5. The RedHawks came back in the final game of the series and won 2-0. (more)

MMC Takes Two in Kentucky
OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/19) – After only getting one game in last week the RedHawks travelled to Owensboro, Kentucky to take on the Brescia Bearcats in a double-header. Martin Methodist won game one 6-5 and game two 7-6 in nine innings. (more)
Cliff Hardy Selected TSAC Pitcher of the Week
JACKSON, Tenn. – Andrew Maddox of Bethel (Tenn.) College and Cliff Hardy of Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College have been named the TranSouth Conference baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week respectively for the week ending March 8, 2009. (more)

RedHawks Take One in TSAC Series
JACKSON, Tenn. (3/8) – The Martin Methodist College Baseball team opened up the 2009 TranSouth Conference schedule this weekend against the Union University Bulldogs. The RedHawk took one of three from the Bulldogs winning the first game of the series 3-0. (more)

Change in Weekend Games
The Baseball series this weekend against Union University in Jackson, Tenn. has changed up some. They will be playing a double-header on Friday (3/6) starting at 4:00 and a single nine inning game on Saturday (3/7) begining at 12:00 due to some rain forecasted for Saturday. The team will be staying at the Guest House Inn in Jackson, 731-664-4312.
RedHawks Sweep Cougars
PULASKI, Tenn. (3/1) – The Martin Methodist RedHawks hosted the University of Saint Francis Cougars yesterday in a double-header. The games today were cancelled due to the snow storm that came through early this morning. The RedHawks won both of Saturday’s games. (more)

RedHawks win Season Opener
FLORENCE, Ala. (2/11) – The Martin Methodist College RedHawks opened up the 2009 season on the road today against NCAA Divison II University of North Alabama who is ranked No. 13. The RedHawks won 4-3. (more)

RedHawks Open 2009 Season Tomorrow
PULASKI, Tenn. (2/10) – The Martin Methodist College Baseball Team will open up their 2009 Season tomorrow on the road against NCAA Division II University of North Alabama. The game will be played in Florence, Alabama at 2:00. The game was originally scheduled to be a home game but with construction not quite finished at Sam Davis the game was moved to UNA. (more)
