Martin Methodist College: Zach Edwards returns for his second season with the RedHawks, but first in uniform after serving as a redshirt in 2006.

Adamsville High School: He coames to MMC after an outstanding high school career at Adamsville, where he played for coach Steven Lambert. While there, he was named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year, batting .365 with 35 RBI and an on base percentage of .405. He was also named All-District and to the Independent Appeal All-Tournament Team in 2005. His career pitching stats ammount to four wins and three losses with 10 saves.
