2002-2003:  Played at MMC for Coach Jeff Dodson. Was 2-1 in 2003 with an ERA of 4.44 and 1-2 with an ERA of 5.64 in 2002.
      
1998-2001:  Played all 4 years for Coach L.C. Nelson at McEwen H.S. Hit .312 with 33 RBI's. Had 7-2 pitching record with an ERA of 1.75 in2001. Team Captain in 2000 and 2001. All -District in 2000 and 2001. Voted Team MVP Best Defensive Player, Best Pitcher, and Best Offensive Player.

Coach's Quotes:  Randy has tremendous potential to be a major pitcher for the RedHawks in 2005. Has to improve as a pitcher rather than a thrower. Hard thrower that simply needs to develope more consistency at throwing strikes. Very good breaking pitch and change-up that he needs to throw more. Has a tendency to go for strikeouts and gets himself in trouble. Can be used as a starter or in relief determined by his ability to become more consistent with his mechanics during the Winter workouts and early outings in the Spring.
