Martin Methodist College: Matt Sakowicz returns for his third and final season with the RedHawks baseball program.

2007:

2006: He posted the second lowest ERA on the team as a sophomore with a 5.96 through 17 games and 22.2 innings pitched. He allowed 16 runs off 26 hits, while posting 19 strikeouts. With no starts, he had a 0-1 record.

St. Johns River Community College: In 2005, Sakowicz pitched in 46 innings as a starter and reliever for St. Johns River in Palatka, Fla. He went 3-5 with 45 strikeouts, while having the most wins on the team.

Citrus High School: A 2004 graduate of Citrus High, Sakowicz was a three year starter on the varsity sqaud. He went 6-1 his senior year pitching around 40 innings with over 80 striekouts, and posted a 2.00 ERA. He was a pitcher three of his four years. During his senior season, he earned All-Conference honors and was the runner up for conference Player of the Year. He also played football three seasons for Ted Williams. He was a scholarship winner and averaged a 3.0 and higher GPA through high school.
