Martin Methodist College: John Mathison returns for his third and final season with the RedHawks.
2007:
2006: Mathison started in 34 of his 37 games played, collecting 25 hits for a .221 batting average. He had 11 RBi and five doubles.
Hiwassee College: In 2005, he started off slowly for coach Jerry Edwards but ended the season with a .330 batting average, five homeruns, and 29 RBI.
University of Alabama-Huntsville: In 2004, he served as a redshirt at the UAH.
Lee High School: A 2003 graduate of Lee, he played four years for coach Butch Weaver and was named All City, All Metro, Super All Metro, and All- State Honorable Mention Senior year. He hit .411 with five homeruns and 28 RBI his senior year.
