Martin Methodist College: Cliff Hardy returns for his third season in a RedHawks uniform after suffering an injury in the 2007 season.
2007:
2006: Hardy displayed his arm both on the mound and in right field for the RedHawks. He collected a .311 batting average through 61 at bats, driving in eight runs and collecting five doubles. He started in24 of his 34 games played. On the mound, he led the team with four wins, collecting a 4-2 record through seven starts and 17 apperances. He recorded 44 strikouts and posted a 7.80 ERA through 57.2 innings.
2005: On the mound as a freshman, Hardy led the team in victories with five.
Mt. Juliet High School: Cliff was a three year starter as an outfielder and pitcher for the Mt. Juliet varsity squad under the direction of coach Mark Purvis. During his senior season, he hit .344 and collected 98 strikeouts and a 1.12 ERA on the mound. That season, he was named the right-handed pitcher of the year in District 9-AAA. He was also named to the All-District Tournament Team, All-Midstate Second Team, and All-State First Team. He graduated with Honors and was a Who’s Who recipient.
