1998-2000:  Played High school ball at Lexington H.S. in Lexington, S.C. for Coach Tommy Williams. All-State all 3 Years for LHS. Drafted by Kansas City Royals in 43rd round in 2000. Had a career batting average of .407 with 23 H.R.'s and 146 RBI's. Senior Season was USA Today Honorable Mention.

Britt has got to cut down on strikeouts in 2005 for the RedHawks and become even more of a force offensively by hitting for a higher average and stealing some bases.
