(6/26) - Martin Methodist College Head Softball Coach Brandie Paul signed Miami-Dade College stand-out outfielder Karina De Los Santos for the 2010 season. Shelbyville, Tenn. - The Martin Methodist College Women’s Basketball Team will be hosting their annual fireworks fund raiser. The fireworks tent is located just outside of town in Shelbyville, TN on Tullahoma Hwy. Sales will begin June 20 and conclude on the evening of July 5th. We ask all of those interested in the purchase of fireworks to contact Coach Dee Bell by email, dbell@martinmethodist.edu. Order can be filled and delivered to campus or feel free to make the short trip to Shelbyville! The women’s basketball team received the award as Best New Vendor for their efforts last summer and with your help we hope to continue to achieve more recognition. Bratton has accepted the head baseball coaching position at Martin Methodist College as announced by the RedHawks Director of Athletics, Jeff Bain. KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Melvin Prada and Vinicius Santos were both named 2009 NAIA All-American Honorable Mention for the 2009 season. DECATUR, Ala. (5/17) – After the Martin Methodist College RedHawks 1-0 win yesterday against Bethel (Ind.), the RedHawks win their pool and move into the eight team double-elimination tournament of the 2009 NAIA Softball National Championship. PULASKI, Tenn. (5/12) - Coach George Ogilvie has resigned as the head baseball coach at Martin Methodist College. Coach Ogilvie has served as the head coach for the past six years compiling an over record of 138-173-1 and a TranSouth Conference record of 52-72-1. (more)
Cheerleading: New Cheer Coaches Added to RedHawk’s Staff
PULASKI, Tenn. - Martin Methodist College is excited to enhance our current cheer squad into an intercollegiate competition cheer/dance team beginning this fall. Leading this initiative will be a set of co-head coaches, a husband/wife team, Micah and Monica Hartsfield have been hired to shape this squad. Cheer competition teams are one the fastest growing intercollegiate sports across the nation.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (5/5) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is proud to announce the qualifiers for the 2009 NAIA Softball National Championship. The tournament will be held at the Wilson Morgan Softball Complex in Decatur, Ala., May 14-20, 2009. This event is hosted by Decatur Parks and Recreation. PULASKI, Tenn. (5/1) – Six members of the Martin Methodist College Softball Team were selected to the 2009 TranSouth All-Conference First Team. Head Coach Brandie Paul was selected as the 2009 TranSouth Coach of the Year. There were also four TranSouth Scholar Athletes on the Martin Methodist softball team. (more)
